At Dresden's public charging park at the Transparent Factory.
Drivers of e-models have 36 charging stations available at the Transparent Factory. The charging stations are AC charging points from 11 to 22 kW, as well as DC charging points with 22 to 100 kW. Of these, two DC fast-charging stations with 100 kW and 2 charging points each are located at the manufactory's e-mobility station. These 4 charging points are protected by a carport modelled on the architecture of the Transparent Factory.
Charging customers can park for 1 hour free of charge, and each additional hour must be paid.
Charging costs and billing may vary depending on the provider and the tariff concluded.
Natural electricity
The electricity is also generated from six photovoltaic panels, each 22 square meters in size, on the meadows in front of the Transparent Factory and fed directly into the plant grid. In this way, we contribute to the generation of natural electricity by Volkswagen Kraftwerk GmbH.
