Basic Tour

The tour gives you a perfect overview of the exciting history of the house, which began as a glass production facility for the Phaeton. Every room, every meter of parquet or glass was designed to showcase the vehicle and its production. With the switch to production of the e-Golf and later the first all-electric Volkswagen ID.3, the company became a pioneer in electric mobility. You can still experience the most exciting stages of the final assembly of an ID.3 today, only now you have the opportunity to get even closer to the bodies and technical systems.

On the 45-minute guided tour, you will get a first insight into selected assembly steps and techniques, about which our workers at the stations will be happy to tell you exciting stories and details. In our exhibition, you can see the vehicles that have been produced here at the site, but also experience the latest models and developments at Volkswagen. 

In addition, you will learn interesting and interesting facts about the special architecture of the house, which was designed from the beginning to be in good harmony with its neighbors. And you will find out what topics we are dealing with here at the site today.
