The ID. Buggy is based on the modular E-drive system and demonstrates the wide range of zero-emission mobility that can be achieved with the MEB within the Volkswagen brand. The high-voltage battery, which supplies the 150 kW / 204 PS electric motor in the rear with power, is located in the vehicle floor.
The clear design language and the minimalist interior are unmistakable. A fixed roof and doors were deliberately omitted, which promises a unique driving experience. The waterproof materials of the interior make the ID. BUGGY1 indestructible. The bodywork composite consisting of a mixed aluminium-steel-plastic construction offers a wide range of different model variations.
