The sun is our largest, most environmentally friendly source of energy. Here at our Dresden location we make use of this energy with a large photovoltaic system.
Thanks to the six photovoltaic panels, each 22 square metres in size and with an output of 25 kWp, we are able to operate one of the largest e-charging stations in Saxony.
Our e-mobility station, consisting of two solar-powered rapid charging stations with four charging points, thus supplies our e-Golf fleet with CO2-free electricity.
Excess energy is fed into the Transparent Factory's network or temporarily stored in a long-life battery with a capacity of 130 kWh.
