Take advantage of your special opportunity when visiting the Gläserne Manufaktur. Get to know the ID.3* and its features on a guided tour and test the first all-electric Volkswagen during a personal test drive.

How It Works

You drive a set route of about 6 kilometers around the Great Garden. A trained instructor will show you how the car works before you set off. You may take up to three passengers on your test drive, who must be at least 12 years old and who live in your home according to the current Corona protection requirements. Otherwise, the number of accompanying persons is limited to one person and the wearing of a mouth-nose protection is mandatory.

Who is eligible

There are the following requirements:

  • a minimum age of 21 years for the driver and 12 years for accompanying persons
  • a European driving licence (owned for at least 12 months). It must be presented before the start of the test drive.
  • A daily, negative SARS-CoV-2 self-test must be proven by a written self-assessment at reception.
  • You do not have any symptoms that indicate infection with Covid 19.
  • You do not come from a risk area designated by the Robert Koch Institute and have not made a trip to a risk area designated by the Robert Koch Institute in the past two weeks.

When do the test drives start?

Please note that due to the current situation we are unable to offer test drives. The Gläserne Manufaktur remains closed to visitors.
