Note in accordance with Directive 1999/94/EC in its currently applicable version: Further information on official fuel consumption figures and the official specific CO2 emissions of new passenger cars can be found in the EU guide "Information on the fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and energy consumption of new cars", which is available free of charge at all sales dealerships, from DAT Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH, Hellmuth-Hirth-Straße 1, D-73760 Ostfildern, Germany and at www.dat.de.
Please note:
The vehicles shown in this presentation may differ, in some details, from the current product range. Some vehicles featured have optional extras, which are available at an additional price.
1) The values indicated were determined in accordance with the specified measurement methods (§ 2, No. 5, 6, 6a of the current version of the energy labelling ordinance for cars). CO2 emissions resulting from the production and supply of fuel or other sources of energy are not taken into account when determining CO2emissions in accordance with Directive 1999/94/EC. The information does not refer to a specific vehicle and is not part of the specification but is only provided for the purpose of comparing the various models. A vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions not only depend on the vehicle’s efficient use of fuel but also on driving behaviour and other non-technical factors. CO2 is the greenhouse gas mainly responsible for global warming. Note in accordance with the current version of Directive 1999/94/EC: further information on official fuel consumption and official specific CO2 emissions of new cars can be taken from the "Guide on Fuel Consumption, CO2 Emissions and Power Consumption of New Cars", available free of charge from DAT Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH, Hellmuth-Hirth-Straße 1, D-73760 Ostfildern or at www.dat.de.
2) Efficiency classes assess vehicles based on CO2 emissions taking the vehicle empty weight into account. Vehicles equivalent to the average are in Class D. Vehicles better than the current average are in Class A+, A, B or C. Vehicles worse than average are described as Class E, F or G.
As a preventive measure, CO2 emission and consumption values featured within the website are currently under revision. As soon as the revision process is finalized we will update those, if necessary.
