If you make use of our personalised services, order a product or subscription, we will ask you to provide certain personal information.
What are personalised services?
Personalised services are services that require you to register and provide personal data. The purpose of these services is to provide you with quick and convenient access to the online products and services you are interested in. Your registration information can be viewed and edited on all Volkswagen portals that you have registered with, by using the link “edit profileˮ. Of course you can also delete your personal data at any time. However if mandatory information is deleted, the personalised service will no longer be available to you.

What is personalised advertising?
Within the context of our personalised services – and only with your prior consent – we create an individual user profile that is used to generate personalised advertising. To create this profile, a databank is set up that stores any registration data provided to us, as well as data regarding your use of the “Die Gläserne Manufaktur” website and online services (frequency, duration and content). This databank automatically evaluates the registration and user data to compare the resulting user profile with our product and service offers. Then we are able to create advertising that is tailored to suit your personal interests. Subsequently, you are spared unnecessary information and we are able to address you in a more direct manner. Of course, the user profile is only based on your activities on our “Die Gläserne Manufaktur” portal.
